Industrial

At Rose Engineering we are experienced in the fabrication and erection of all types of Industrial and Commercial Steel Framed Buildings covering any project large or small

Our years of experience gives us the ability to turn green field sites into purpose built Industrial Units and working closely with the Client, Architect and Engineer we can construct bespoke Steel Framed Buildings to suit individual requirements. We are able to carry out all building works including groundworks, site preparation, bulk earthworks, drainage systems, infrastructure, concrete areas, lagoons, fencing etc., through to final internal fit-out, plumbing and electrical installations.  As well as constructing new Industrial Units we can also build extensions and carry out refurbishments to existing buildings breathing new life into redundant spaces and bringing existing buildings up to modern standards.

We are happy to work as Main Contractor or sub-contractor and ensure our projects run as smoothly as possible with a dedicated Contracts Manager assigned to each project to make certain they are completed in a timely and efficient manner without disruption to any on-going business activity.  Our commitment to health and safety is shown by our SMAS Worksafe Accreditation, clients can be assured that all aspects of our projects are carried out within the required safety guidelines.  Read more on our Health & Safety page.

All of our Structural Steelwork comes with UKCA Marking Certification and all work is carried out within Health & Safety Rules and the CDM 2015 Regulations.

Starting with our clients initial ideas, we can assist in the design and planning process, including submission of planning applications if required. All aspects of your Industrial or Commercial building project from the steel fabrication in our own Dorset based workshop; all groundwork, concreting, steelwork erection, cladding and finishing, as well as electrical & plumbing works and internal fit-out completed by our own teams.

We are happy to undertake a complete build project as Main Contractor or work as part of a team with other contractors on your new Industrial or Commercial building project.

All of our Structural Steelwork comes with UKCA Marking Certification as standard and all work is carried out within Health & Safety Rules and the CDM 2015 Regulations to ensure quality and safety throughout.

With over 37 years experience in the construction industry, here at Rose Engineering we carry out all necessary groundwork, civils, concreting etc., associated with Industrial and Commercial Building projects.

Our site workers are experienced and equipped to provide a complete Groundworks service using our own plant and machinery such as slews, telehandlers, JCB’s, dumpers etc., enabling us to offer a “one stop shop” to cover an entire project and aid the smooth running of our jobs.  We can carryout Groundworks as a stand alone project or as part of a whole build.

Our highly skilled Groundwork Teams provide an efficient concreting and finishing service, allowing us to create roadways, hard standing areas and many concrete finishing options including patterned, brushed and power float.

With a wealth of experience, we take pride in ensuring all site work is finished to the highest standard to complement our high quality Steel Framed Buildings, from initial site clearance and earthworks to complete drainage system installation, brick & block work, external surfacing, internal fittings, floors etc.

We can provide:

  • Site Clearance
  • Site Preparation
  • Excavations
  • Groundworks
  • Drainage
  • Concreting
  • Brick & Block laying
  • Lagoons
  • Concrete Panelling
  • Infrastructure & all Civil Works
  • Earthworks
Our trained, experienced cladding teams can provide new or replacement cladding for building roofs and elevations.

Cladding on existing older buildings can often be worn and unattractive and, if leaking, unable to be repaired successfully. Fitting new cladding can give an existing building a new lease of life and a real face-lift.

We are happy to provide clients with a comprehensive quotation for these works encompassing removal of old cladding (including asbestos) replacement with new (like for like or updated specification) and alternative purlins if necessary.

We are also approved installers of Securiclad Panels – a premium high security modular panel system designed and manufactured to protect high-risk areas.

So, whether it’s re-cladding an existing building or a new project, our teams are Health & Safety compliant and will carry out the work in a safe and professional manner.

We can install cladding in a variety of materials and in a choice of colours, profiles and finishes including:

  • Single Skin Steel
  • Composite Panels
  • Built-Up Systems
  • Fibre Cement
  • Timber
  • Concrete Panelling
Our Repairs Team can carry out all types of repairs, refurbishment and maintenance to Industrial and Commercial Buildings, whether caused by general wear and tear or damage from storm, fire, flood or other damage.

We are on hand to carry out any general repairs to Industrial and Commercial buildings and also work closely with insurance companies to offer a complete repair and refurbishment service. Buildings benefit from regular inspection and maintenance and we can also offer a Maintenance Contract service to ensure issues are dealt with before they become problematic or result in the loss of production and earnings.

Dated or worn-out buildings can lead to under-performance both in energy use and functionality. The refurbishment of existing Commercial or Industrial Buildings by, for example, updating insulation materials, cladding and layout can breathe new life into otherwise tired and out dated buildings.

It is often more cost effective to refurbish an existing building than to re-locate and we can assist in designing and carrying out modifications required to optimise the performance of redundant or unusable buildings. For example, re-cladding an existing building can result in improved energy efficiency, improved ventilation, prolonged lifespan and an immediate aesthetic improvement.  Adding a mezzanine area can increase the overall floor space reducing cramped conditions.

Such alterations often require Planning Permission and Building Regulation approval.  Contact our Design Team who can help with this and any other aspect of refurbishment or repair project.

Our cladding teams are fully trained and compliant with Health & Safety Regulations including Asbestos removal so you can rest assured that current standards are met.
