Since July 2014, it has been a legal requirement that all Structural Steelwork and Steel Framed Buildings are CE Marked to ensure every building (or structure) conforms to the appropriate manufacturing standards and are fit for purpose under BS EN 1090 Part 2.
Failure to engage a contractor who can provide CE Marked Steelwork could result in building insurance being denied.
Rose Engineering is accredited to CE Mark our steelwork and all our steelwork will be provided with the relevant Compliance Certification.
The 2015 CDM Regulations apply to all construction projects in the UK. Virtually everyone involved in a construction project, including the client, has legal duties under the CDM 2015 Regulations.
The main duty for clients is to ensure their project is suitably managed and that their appointed contractor will comply with all Health & Safety rules and responsibilities under the CDM Regulations.
Rose Engineering can take on the major project roles if required and will work with any other members of the project team to ensure a scheme is fully CDM compliant.
